“ No problem can be solved from the same level of
consciousness that created it”
Albert
Einstein
According to
Merriam Webster’s many definitions of consciousness, one definition is “the
state of being characterized by sensation, emotion, volition, and thought: mind”
Consciousness
is the part of the mind in which we are aware.
When Einstein writes about solving problems on different levels of
consciousness, he is suggesting that you
look at a different perspective, as the first perspective usually is the one that caused the problem to begin with.
For example lets take a common problem that
many people have such as debt. If one
borrows money continuously they will probably always have excessive debt. Borrowing more money probably will not solve
the problem. Another level or a higher level of consciousness is to find a way
to obtain the money without excessive borrowing.
If we were to design a ladder with the lowest
rung labeled stealing the second rung begging, the third rung
borrowing, and
the fourth rung is employment and so forth, this could easily illustrate levels
of consciousness.
Transcending
to another level is possible, you would just need to determine what level you are
on, and where on the level of consciousness you need to be.

Sometimes we need to take a rest from doing. Other times we need to take an exploration of our life events to determine why it seems to be we are going in circles.
